Not compatable with powered speakers
Save your money. This mixer does not have XLR outputs so you cannot connect to a pair a powered speakers.

Can it work with Traktor without an external souncard ?
does it have an internal soundcard that can be connected via usb to mix 4 decks of Traktor or an external soundcard is needed ?

Great mixer reasonably priced.
I love this mixer. I use it when watching TV to fade the sound from the TV out when commercials come one and fade in music using one fader. It's a really cool mixer to use with your stereo, and if I recorded live music in my garage, this would be perfect (but I'd probably buy a bigger one just because I like lots of faders and switches. I'm very pleased with this unit and would buy it again.

BPM Counter doesn't work
I don't normally use a bpm counter I match by ear. But for people who use it. It is way off, for a song that is 128 it comes up as 160 or 90. It's way off.

This mixer is poor quality
The mixer is garbage. There are so many bad things about this mixer that I can't even mentioned all of them in the allotted amount of characters. JUST DONT BUY IT. It's not even worth 20 bucks. No kidding. What a poor excuse for a (so called )Professional mixer. Thanks for the headache berhinger.

Died after one year, wasn't the best in working condition either
Junk - after less than a year, it started to make white noise / scratching first in one and then also in the other channel (sadly its not feasible to send back for warranty from Central America) . In working condition it seems flimsy, the channel faders are very loose and really only use the top quarter of their moving spectrum. The sound is flat and the FX is a joke. Got me a Numark M6 which sounds great, has sturdy feeling faders (and btw is 100 bucks cheaper) and I am much happier now!

Decent for the price...
Overall, it's a decent mixer, and other reviews are accurate. Cross fader is medium loose/stiff scale. I have had stiffer and looser, this is neither. But, if you can scratch it'll work, and so will the channel faders. But mixer is not too sturdy. In addition, BPM is inconsistent sometimes totally on, but more often totally off. Oh, and the effects machine could be cool, but needs better description of different effects and directions on how to use it--otherwise the effects are useless. I also like to set the level for slope on a cross fader (i.e. -6, -18, -30), this mixer has a slope curve adjustment, but would be better if I could set the slope level (the slope level sets the angle of the slope).

Behringer Djx900usb Professional 5ch Usb Dj Mixer ControllerThe DJX900 is a great intermediate level mixer.Behringer Djx900usb Professional 5ch Usb Dj Mixer Manual
I don’t know why it seems like clunky heavy mixers are more robust than the light weight mixers. That was my first thought when I opened the box and handled this mixer; this mixer is cheap! My excitement went out the door. I was semi-excited about using the VCA cross fader until I started to slide the cross fader side to side. It didn’t feel as sturdy as I thought it would but performs well. It took approximately 2 weeks for me to realize what I have purchased. The DJX900 is a great intermediate level mixer. Although it may not have a sturdy feel, it is very well functional. It does everything it says it will do. The two things that don’t work well and I don’t care for on this mixer are the built-in effects and the BMP counter. The BPM counter does not work consistantly and most of the time inaccurate. The effects unit is not intuitive and difficult to use on the fly. I use the effects and BPM built into the Traktor Scratch Pro 2 software, so it's not a big deal. Since this purchase, I’ve learned to like the mixer. If you’re starting to advance your skills by adding remix sets and loops to your mix by adding additional decks (virtual or non-virtual), this mixer is great to learn on. For the price, I couldn’t expect more from this mixer. As the old saying goes, “I’m gonna ride it till’ the wheels fall off”.
